If J is for Janson, then K is for ...

Russell Ingall has debuted a new chassis at QR, with his previous car (Janson)now run by Tim Slade.

Following the PMM tradition, this would be chassis K....for what? KRudd? Kramer? KFC? Anyone know?

Presumably, the car that one day might be the TKR machine is the I for Indian chassis.

Would be a nice way to remember Special K, a superstar cut down in his prime by an off-track accident. Like Kasey Kahne (wow, another K guy), he was a peoples choice hero with no enemies.

Confirmed in today's Telegraph by Russell. Apparently he had a habit of celebrating by doing victory lap in reverese !?!!

Not quite reverse, he just celebrated his victory lap by going around the track in the opposite direction.

And a 'Polish Lap' (named in honor of Kulwicki) is often done as a tribute to a racer of official who has recently passed away.

I'd like it to stay on former Touring Car drivers. If Janson is like Peter Janson, I'd like a driver from the past whose name starts with K. Katayama, Moffat's old co-driver from the Mazda days, comes to mind but would like to do better (Ken Lusty was the only other driver I could think of)

My bad I misunderstood it. I like my idea better though !

Bit late for that - Earndhart.

Personally I think Kev would have been an appropriate tribute.
