A GT2 Viper sure, but a half production bitsa like those in Aus GT seems a stretch, the Ferrari CAN be as quick but it needs to work alot harder through the corners, sure a GT2 Ferrari like the Coopers 550 or an Enzo would be faster but at 8x the cost plus not elligible to race in Australia...

Any Ferrari newer than 20 years or so, including ones preppared for racing, are not going to plumet to sub $100k values like a supercar, so they are a cheaper purchase proposition at the least, if not running costs?, surely???

Anyway hopefully Britek can find a buyer for their workshop, if not cars, as a whole... It is all set up to run a very professional Development Series team, surely there might be an interested Development series team in Melbourne?

Strictly speaking there were 5 cars operated by Britek at various times.

The BMS001 and BMS002 were sourced from FPR, and suitably modified/updated/developed by Britek over their 4 years of use.

When BMS002 almost met its maker in Perth, a BJR chassis was leased, and filled with Britek mechanicals until the team finished building BMS003.

When Mr Marshall arrived at Britek last season, he brought another ex-FPR chassis to the team for it to operate. Quite where that car is now is unclear.

BMS001 is with Mr Sieders, BMS002 is supposedly still with Britek for sale, BMS003 is supposedly the chassis Mrs Tander has bought with Wilson Security, the BJR chassis is the one Owen Kelly won at Oran Park in and is now again for sale from Mr Neville, while the ex-FPR Marshall car is not known....

Isn't Marcus current car the Ex-FPR car?
Spoke with him at Oran Park last year about this year, I did get the impression that car was going over with him. He spoke highly of the car, it was just that Britek didn't have the funds to keep up the development of the engine package.

Mr Marshall currently runs an ex-888 BF for IntaRacing. Presumably now Mr Lowndes has his new FG this weekend, that Mr Marshall shall take delivery of that car soon.

That all sounds logical...so why does ebay describe the two Britek cars as BMS 002 and BMS 003, if Tandersport has 003? Maybe it is the ex Marshall car.
