Compromised should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cheese Dangerous swerving - PLP not good enough!!! (SIC!)

Scotty could have killed someone with his actions during Saturdays race. Surely swerving under SC needs to be stamped out with iron fist, a PLP is just a slap on the wrist. Just a joke, I split my beer everywhere when I saw him swerve a few meters too the left...nearly choked on my red rooster when he swerved back to the right!!!!!! Outrageous, wonton, reckless driving. Suspension and loss of points would be a more just punishment

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Especially on a straight, I mean who would know what he was doing. I think he should be forced to drive a red bull car to understand what happens when you have a big cheque book and can pay to get out of errors (post race)

Communication error costs McLaughlin

Erm... Prior to the safety car lights going out, the whole grid were swerving and weaving. It's what they do.

but once those safety car lights go out swerving left to right is the most dangerous thing that can ever happen and severe punishment should occur

General rule for forums is if you're being sarcastic, put it in italics.

Is it too early to ask for a recall of capital punishment?

Word from Canberra, The Hon P Dutton.
"this is failure to accept Australian Test"
This person will be placed on the watch list and next instance of this he will be deported as unsatisfactory citizen.

That should do instead of a PLP.

Rules are rules, and they are the same for everybody.

Time penalty is a much better thing for such an infraction, but I did not write the rules.

Rules are rules if you aren't triple 8, I like seeing an overtake, but Whincup was in the wrong yesterday. I saw an aerial shot of him spinning frosty this morning and it shows there was plenty of room. Whincup missed the apex by a mile and tagged Frosty. If Frosty wasn't there he Whincup was in the wall. Lowndes' car and entry to the apex doesn't do any favours by Whincup either. Just proves he was off the line. He had the inside so he could have taken the corner correct

Missed the apex? He was already on the kerb. Frosty caused the accident. You need to get your blinkers off.

No he didn't, but look at his line, which was the line many had been taking including Whincup, versus the line Whincup took on Winterbottom

hey hey, back on topic

this thread is about the extremely light penalty Scotty got for a brief swerve a km from the start line

maybe japenese inspection is the Go

But seriously, skaife raised it at the time, you jump the start and get a 5 second (it might be ten) at the next pit stop, why would this be any worse than that

Hung, drawn and quartered?

Seriously, a 5 or 10 second penalty would have sufficed.
