European Porsche Carrera Cup 2015!?

In this press release they are talking about a European Carrera Cup during the Spa 24 hours 2015... "In addition, Carrera Cup GB drivers also qualify for a guest package giving entry to a ‘European Carrera Cup’ support race prior to the Spa 24 Hours GT race on 25 July" Does anybody know more about this? Should be something like during 24 Hours Le Mans 2014? |

According to Autosport this replaces the Le Mans round the PCC GB did last season, except for the PCC GB only. I repeat, that's Autosport.

The round of the Porsche Carerra Cup GB that will take place at Spa will be in support of the WEC, not the 24hrs.

I suppose no immediate repeat of Porsche Cup support at LM then, and in high probability back to Ferrari Challenge rotation after 2011+2013
It is sort of interesting that you had the BIG Porsche Carrera/Super Cup support extravaganza for N24 2011, then for LM24 last year, and now seemingly for S24. |
