'Tis indeed a pity that Mike has for financial reasons had to rein in his Hillclimbing efforts. Mind you the added costs of mounting a challenge to the Hillclimb Championship from the Channel Islands and continuing to do so for so many seasons must have massive consequences.
I will certainly miss his sense of humour and the big truck to shelter in! Hope to see him back in 2008, until then best of luck to the Moose!

Just spotted that over on Richard's site, came here to see if anyone knew and found you've all beaten me to it. A great pity to loose such an enthusiastic competitor, I hope he's able to make it back for next year. Good luck, Moose.

What a shame - takes the edge off our pleasure at seeing Junior with the V10 and Willem again. Let's hope it's only for one year.

My comment did not refer to Moose's sad position that he is in at the present which, hopefully, he will be able to resolve for next year.
It just shows that the expense involved in competing at the top level of any branch of motorsport, especially our 'amateur', in the best sense of the word, section is, perhaps, getting out-of-hand ??????? |

Haha. Similar to moose we wont be out for much of the season. Learnt the lesson of trying to compete without the necessary budget last year! When we get out it will be you slowing down for me!
