I'll consider going there on Sunday. I was there last time in 2012 but wasn't very satisfied to the facilities. This time paddock access is included, 2012 they announced paddock access is forbidden due to 'public authority decision' (didn't tell which authority). That was just BS, on location they sold paddock access tickets for 80 € per day.

http://erc24.com/archives/18551 Riku Tahko will now make his World Rallycross debut in an LD Motorsports DS3, not a MINI as previously listed. Looks like LDM now have four DS3's. I wonder if Tahko will be in the "new" car, or if that will go to Krzysztof Skorupski and the ex-Pat Doran/Skorupski car will go to Tahko? Even though I think the MINI is an awful looking car its a shame it won't be in action this weekend. Would have been good to seen another different marque in the mix. |

I still have no idea if his first plan was to race his S2000 Rally MINI in Kouvola or if he had a slight chance to get the Prodrive RX MINI that had been used by Liam Doran and Dave Mirra already. Even my usually well informed Finnish source was not able to tell...

That was a dramatic set of Semi Finals! Gutted for Solberg, they looked so close to nailing the car back together. Well deserved win for Foust, very tidy driving despite the crappy conditions.
Yet another strong showing from Nitiss, he really seems to have got to grips with that Fiesta. |
