Oulton Park - 13th September AMOC
Hi

I know that some of you are at OP this weekend but I'm working .

Getting ready for Aston's and a friend at work is wanting come along with his son who's on shore leave from the Navy.

Does anyone have a spare ticket that I could have please for them?

Had a quick look through the list of competitors from the last AMOC meeting (Silverstone) and no sign of Mr Bean, which is a shame.

Was working last year so missed the AMOC at Oulton, but have met Chris Rea on numerous occasions, but never seen him race!

I see from the finals that the races which have rolling starts 'will complete one lap behind the pace car out of the assembly area round the short Fosters circuit...'; from past experience maybe that should read 'the first three cars will complete one lap behind the pace car out of the assembly area round the short Fosters circuit, the remainder will complete one lap of the full circuit'!

On the finals it says '08:00hrs latest'. There is also a note that chief officials can collect their signing on sheets from 07:30, so we'll be there around 07:30...or earlier.

It also says that you are on post at 08:40 so for incident you may as well get there about 07:45 (that's when I'll probably start!).

Aye and not like me on the Saturday of the Gold cup...

Got there early to be at front of queue, got tempted by the pitstopper breakfast ;-) and ended up at the back as I was just finishing off as Nadine arrived ;-( But I did bring me own coffee, the chequers stuff diluted it to a normal strength from the rocketfuel it started out as...

Not on provisional entry list. Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), wife and daughter were out recently in the AMOC but looks like they are not at Oulton either.

Looks like there are decent size grids for the meet. Hopefully there will be some good racing.
