Lee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just in About Steve Park

It has just been announced at Richmond International Raceway, that Steve Park will be out of the driver's seat of the #1 DEI Penzoil Chevy, for the indefinate future. The doctor (Dr Jerry Petty, no relation to Richard) said that it would be a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks, if then, before Park could drive again. Kenny Wallace, who drove the car for Park last weekend, at Darlington, will continue driving the car, until Park is able to return.

I really feel for Steve. To have to miss so many races over such a fluky accident has got to be tough. He was doing quite well and I expected him to finish in the top ten in the final points standings.

Marcus,

They didn't say, but since Dr. Petty is a neuroligist, I am guessing that it is from the concussion. They interviewed Kenny Wallace, and he said that he had heard that it was due to Park having double vision, or balance problems associated with the concussion. I know that this has been a problem with some drivers in the past, that suffered similar symptoms from similar injuries. What is scary is that his accident was so similar to Ernie Irvan's, that finally ended his career. See you later.
