driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
822 can am was raced once in TS & disqualified from snetterton race for being 500kg unde the can am weight limit ( allegedly a world record!!)
the 5 litre chevy cars where the only weights known and the fkwits did not know that 2 litre cars raced in their own class or of the 2 litre can am weight limits
Needless to say with that attitude the driver said fkem and never went back

Hi Mr EUROBOSS.
Can you say to me how the passenger rides are working at this next ronda race how much for these.
Also the grid seem very small if not for the Ascari cars and another Zwaart why do you think this , is only Euroboss race so sponsors are not interested or something else.
Why was this Haddon in the prison. Sorry for all questions but I have been away for days

Good point Alexandre! Last year no spectators were allowed.Have seen no publicity indicating it will be better this time? One race with max 12 cars will hardly attract any paying punters anyway.

EuroBOSS

Hey, wake up, we have a last warning!!! This thread can not be closed!!!

I do not understand why people post here things which are 'miles away' from EuroBOSS! Nobody wants to read that!

It gives other forums where you can discuss about the life, own problems, problems with other people or simply nonsense!

Please, here in this thread only serious EuroBOSS stuff!
Many Thanks!

Second, some interesting facts about the 'Ascari' F1 passenger rides!

Ascari AX3
Three Seater Formula One Passenger rides

The Ascari AX3 3 Seater Formula one car is a purpose-built chassis, based on a currentspecification F1 car, and re-designed by an experienced team of engineers to incorporate passenger compartments optimised for safety, comfort and viewing. The AX3 car is powered by a 700bhp-plus V10 racing engine and features the same type of chassis construction, suspension, brakes as the cars that compete in the Formula One World Championship.

Q: How fast do the cars go?
A: The Ascari AX3 will hit speeds in excess of 300 km/h, combined with acceleration, braking and cornering similar to that of a current F1 car.
Q: How many AX3 3 seater Formula One cars are there?
A: There were only 2 full AX3 cars built. Ascari Race Resort has both!
Q: How much did the AX3 cars cost to build?
A: It is difficult to be precise about build cost of any F1 car given the manpower and design facilities which are all bespoke. Perhaps the best answer is that each car is insured for over £250,000.
Q: As a passenger, do you really feel like you’re in a Formula One car?
A: Absolutely! The Ascari AX3 is a Formula One car with 3 seats.
Q: Are there any restrictions on the size of a passenger?
A: Space is limited in the passenger compartment and, as a result, there are nominal limits of 1.8 m (6ft) in height, 88 kg (14 stone) in weight and a maximum width (including upper arms) of 139.7cm (55 in). There is also a minimum height restriction of 1.40 m (5 ft).
As long as the safety of the driver or passengers is not compromised, Ascari team members will make every effort to accommodate most passengers. Even if the sizes are outside our guidelines.
Q: Are there any medical restrictions when it comes to being a passenger?
A: Each passenger is checked by a qualified doctor before being allowed on track.
Q: Is there a minimum age for being an AX3 passenger?
A: Passengers must be over 17, and any participants between 17 and 18 years of age require parental consent in addition to the normal medical clearance required.
Q: Do I need to bring a helmet or any special clothing?
A: No. All necessary racewear, including fire-resistant overalls, underwear, boots, gloves and helmet, will be provided to passengers.

Third, there gives some different ways to join this celebration event (like I said some days ago, this is not a 'normal' race meeting)!

Weekend VIP Pass: Race, Lunch, Pit Lane Walkabout, Gala Party & Ride in F1 car - €2,750
Sunday Race Pass: Race, Lunch, Pit Lane Walkabout - €75.00
Sunday evening Gala Party: Champagne, 3 course dinner, Wines, DJ/Dancing & Fireworks - €200.00

High Speed passenger rides (advance bookings only)
Formula1: €2,500 per person
Ascari Le Mans: €1,500 per person
Radical SR3: €225.00 per person

To book Your Tickets: (+34) 952 18 71 71

Fourth, why only 12 cars?
The main problem for other teams or drivers is the long travel (which cost a lot of money and you need some days free of work) or the cars not ready or other private or business obligations! Like every race...

I hope you are now satisfied with all these information which one I could give you!

Crikey! If I had the money I'd be down there and booking myself a ride in the f1 car! (as well as all the other things!)
Personally I think that this is the sort of event which EuroBoss should do to celebrate the 100 race mark.

@Rob29 I thought that there were spectators last year. I was told a stand was constructed for there use.

Nice to see the ferrari out!

Is this the former Arrows AX3 car, built in 2001? In affirmative case, it's cool that EuroBOSS rescued it for passenger rides. As good as Stoddy's marketing with the Minardi F1x2 cars, casually origined in 2000 on a project linked to Arrows too.

Yes, there were spectators there last year. They were residents of nearby Ronda who were bussed in to watch the racing and enjoy some hospitality. A stand was constructed for them.
In addition to local residents there were many friends of Klaas, some Ferrari owners club type activity, some promotional work allowing cyclists to travel around the circuit..........

Not sure what was "Ill fated" about the Arrows AX3, other than Arrows folded a couple of years after they were produced.
Here is a little interesting article about the Arrows auction. for those of you curious how much these cars cost. (All prices are £)

3 seater car was built purely as a PR stunt it ran only a couple of times and i dont beleive it had clients in the car just the test team crew

i have sat in the rear space its too small and cramped for 5 ft 8 and over it took some time to extract my self from the cockpit
the concept was right but i would not want to drive down the pit lane in the car
and yes i was there looking at buying the cars

Hello Martin,
yes it is possible, we are still in 'discuss'!
I would say it looks good for a EuroBOSS @ JCR-Hockenheim return next year!
It was a fantastic event, all drivers and teams wish that we have this event again on our calendar for 2008!

Best Regards to my German friends!

I have no own F1 car or other race cars.
I have only two private street cars, a normal VW and a 'race style' Audi!
Possibly I would have a chance for a F1 passenger ride at Ascari, but not this year, because I can unfortunately not be there!
I am so sad, but that is the life!
