Dave Weston should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Looking forward to this; have had to miss the Classic for the last couple of years.

Yep, me too - first went as a spectator when it was Coy's, been looking forward to marshaling it again for ages. Having to miss the Gold Cup at Oulton (my favourite OP meeting) for the first time for over ten years, so this is a must! Look forward to seeing everyone...

Don't forget to bring a pen along to the barbecue if you want to take part in the quiz.

Aw thanks Bauble! Can I have one of those join the dots books as well? May help me use my flags properly using the pointy end not the blunt end!

Follow the smoke, and look for a large group of orange overalls. You can't miss it!

One matter that I have not seen any mention of is the marshalling of the barbecue.
Clearly a large number of highly trained men/women will be required with a variety of skills and experience, including fire marshals (it is a barbecue), crowd control experts, post chiefs, first aiders (bound to be a fight), incident officers and flaggies.

We will probably need the services of the Assembly Area chaps to ensure order in the queue for burgers, and some strong arm types to keep an eye on the beer.

Can I leave this is the capable hands of Alan?

BBQ

I will use the blue flag to warn of hungry marshals approaching, and the yellows if the queue gets too long!
Alan and Faz can stand by with extinguishers just in case
See you tomorrow
And yes, you can tell I'm excited!!

The Delta truck is in roughly the same place as last year. Old paddock about in line with toilets 2 rows back. Plenty of liquid refreshments already available. Please let people know where this will be Ian is catering for 200.
