He will be sadly missed. I don't know how he maintained the strength to continue his commentating last year, but you could tell he just didn't want to stop.

Benny was certainly one of the good guys. He was also the first Cup competitor to reach 200 mph in qualifying. In 1982 he qualified at 200.176 mph for the Winston 500 at Talladega.
