NW FF1600 DH on Oulton Full Circuit 15 May
After the season opener is now out of the way, we can expect an even higher entry than yesterday's 44 cars at the next round.
15th May has been moved from Fosters to the Full International circuit. Not only that, it will be a double header. That will give four FF1600 races on the day. The entry fee will be £250. Anybody who has already entered, send the £85 difference for the second race to BRSCC HQ. |

I am going to open up a debate here -
I had planned not to race in round 2 as I have a business trip abroad. I didn't mind missing 1 round as I could drop it anyway. I was also going to miss one later in the season but i have managed to rearrange that after the dates came out. So I am very angry to find that after all the dates have been set I am now going to miss 2 rounds.... Meaning that all my plans and ££££ at having a good go at a top 3 in the championship is a waste of time. Why can't we stick with the original dates and rounds? You can have 1 round for the Championship and the second race could then be just an open race with no points......... I know my point of view is a selfish one but I am sure other people would be pi...ed off like me in the same situation. Last edited by Redracer77; 25 Apr 2004 at 10:32. |

Chris, can I close your debate here and now.
With 11 rounds you drop one. With 12 rounds, you drop two. That is your best 10 scores count in either scenario. So you are not in any different situation. I suggest you are more peeved at missing out on the full circuit |

Well, whatever, you can see his point though!
Chris, don't worry, we will all let you know how fantastic it all was! Imagine, in a Homer Simpson voice- 'MMMMMM, Oulton International, MMMM, twice in a day, MMMMM |

Yeah sorry your missing it Chris, but I can't wait for this. The international is such a better circuit, better overtaking oppertunities, more challenging corners. This will be good!

If it does hail, it still won't be as slippery as it will be if Portly Hackett is out again !!!!

Seriously though, hope nothing like that happens. Hope you have a good test, not too good mind you. I can't wait to race on the interantional again, and two races as well. The wait for just the one the other day got me well nervous by the time we got to go out.

how are you going to keep it in check from behind?
It's good of you to offer to follow Ian round with a spare fire extinguisher though. Last edited by kartingdad; 27 Apr 2004 at 13:42. |

KD after last weekends good showing Ian could do with a lesson of not looking in mirrors and slowing himself down we all do it to start with.So another yellow vd infront, underneath, alongside or behind would be a good lesson !!lol

I'd do it Chris but I have a feeling you'd want the car in one piece for the rest of the season, wouldn't you?

He's already been told about looking in his mirrors.
His excuse was he was checking out his new helmet as he could not believe he had paid soooo much money for it! |

Where were you watching Jase? I was looking in the mirrors a fair bit i have to say, like you say at this stage its easily done. And to be honest, in the race i was trying to see where everyone behind had got to. One minute theres was four or five cars behind me, and then a corner later, none at all. Couldnt quite believe it.
