Massa for me, maybe Alonso was quicker, 1/10th according to fastest laps i think, but like it or lump it Massa was ahead and he had him covered, what a shame.

I've given it to Massa for his start, because that was the decisive moment. After that I think Alonso was quicker, but the 'team orders' nonsense denied us the opportunity of seeing a real race between them.
It would have been much more interesting if one of the Ferraris and Vettel had been going head-to-head. McLaren really do need to sort out their blown diffuser in a hurry, because as of today they've been left behind. |

Massa, for the obvious reason of being the better driver today but also for not parking it, telling Dominicalli to poke his job and going home as I feel I might have done.

Potsie.. an unloved oil-free Renault was his lot and he managed to drag it home 6th (maybe soon to be 4th? )

With all the oil required he was only ever going to be 6th (4th).
Webber thought he was pants in Q and not so good in the race. He said he "will be back" though. |

Massa, although he was not really compelling. Then again no driver stood out today, pretty boring race except for Teflonso's and Smedley's entertainment value.

Massa, not so much for driving, but the good grace of taking one for the team without venom or loutish behavior (although I do prefer Webber's just s(pr)ay it policy.)

Massa for me. My reply to that engineer would be unprintable and heartfelt.

Stephano Domenicalli. Nobody else really did anything special. Massa had probably the least worse drive of the day. Except, he let Alonso get too close.

Massa for me - really good to see him up the front again after a tough time. He must have been cracking up laughing in his helmet after Vettel's mess of the start let him simply drive around two cars like that!

I would rate Massa the driver of the race, I didnt really expect him to be challenging for many wins any longer, but he proved me wrong and showed that he still has what it takes to win a race, that is if it wasnt for him being the #2 driver at Fezza :P
Yeah, I'm sure you would have done that to your employer who is paying you multiple millions of dollars every year to race ~20 car races. Last edited by Wims; 26 Jul 2010 at 10:32. |

Has to be Massa who took full advantage of Vettel's tunnel Alonso vision start and would have won if the result wasn't fixed.

Timo Glock is the driver of the race: he won 6 places (started 24th and finished 18th).
I didn't want to vote for Massa because I didn't want to vote for the weak. Why on earth did he obey that order? Afraid of losing his job? He will regret it for the rest of his career (just like Barrichello still regrets Austria 2002). If Massa had said 'f_kk 0ff', he would have shown the world that he was a real winner. |
