Hopefully 8Star can run Scott Hargrove alongside him as well, both are good talents.

That's close at the top which is good - prefer an extra 3 or 4 cars on the grid tho!

Of all people to take pole for the Freedom 100, it's Ethan Ringel, the last full-time driver in the standings, behind Sean Rayhall, who missed 2 rounds! Harvey 2nd, should be interesting...

Big news. Since Mediocre Max will not be at Toronto as he is running Le Mans, Carlin have replaced with Formula E championship leader Nelson Piquet Jr for the Toronto races. Massive for the series, and 2 wins has to be the expectation for Nelsinho.

Well, the top 3 are no pushovers and 2 of them (Jack Harvey and Spencer Pigot) have previous experience to draw from in Toronto.

Good news, it will be a pleasure watching Mr. Piquet Jr. pedal an Indy Lights car around the Streets of Toronto.

Piquet jr. at Carlin is very nice to see. I hope we'll see him in IndyCar in future.

But I'm really disappointed by the amounts of starters in Lights...

Yeah, the Porsche GT3 Cup race is looking thin, too. Sigh.

Scott Hargrove will be in it at least (he should be in Lights with 8Star alongside Sean Rayhall, but they seem to be having sponsorship issues).

Indy Lights would need a few more cars. Even if there were 15 to 20 cars that would make much "fuller" looking grid.

I think the visibility of the championship is lower than it should be, and the running cost a bit too high right now. Next year with used chassis and (hopefully) other incentives, the situation should improve. If we're still at 13 for 2016, then I would be concerned.

I like the sound these IL 15 cars produce. That snap-crackle-pop fourbanger turbo sound. Sounds really great trackside. Don't really miss the old flat-crank V8's

Well, Piquet Jr was doing a good job until he was assaulted by Ethan Ringel! Ringel is very lucky to have escaped that horror crash though, didn't he go literally 'head' first into the tyre wall?

Pigot picked up the pieces though, it's good to see him right at the front again.

That wasn't Ringel, it was Richard Enerson who was on the front row with him. Shame that the battle wasn't allowed to play out.

I don't know if Piquet brake checked him, or if Pigot braked late, but Pigot's car had front end damage inflicted at turn 1. Again, a shame we didn't get to a potential three-way fight for the win.

The Enerson crash really was a hairy one, very lucky boy indeed.

Spencer Pigot really shaded everyone in the second (very wet) race. His twin victories at Toronto put him much closer to Jack Harvey in the points standings.

It rained for the support races, not the Indycar race (well, a slight drizzle right at the end).

I saw the IndyCar race. I asked as I was wondering if it was raining prior to the IndyCar race.
