To be fair to Channel 7, they didn't have any ad breaks for the last hour and a half of Bathurst in 2014

Today was much improved.

And as already stated the one ad break for the last half of he race was much appreciated.

Bring on Townsville.

They did have an hour mid race to jam as many in as they could though

unfortunately that was not the case for many rounds (not a complaint against seven thats how fTA works)

You mean no V8 races shown at all? At least Ten is showing them live. FOX Sports won't show F1 FP2 either according to Foxtel TV Guide. The Albert Park weekend gives you a great indication as to how Ten and FOX Sports are televising the weekend

I was also quite amazed about the lack of ads that were shown throughout the 250km race. I actually don't mind Ten saving the ads for when a SC appears.

The transition from racing to ads & back again was a bit craap. Like on the F1 coverage, its not a natural stop. Maybe they will fix it.

That presumebly relies on the V8TV commentators stopping and starting again at the required times?

Sunday Race - #10 scored a 487,000. Havent seen any numbers for Foxtel yet but cant seeing it being anywhere near 160,000 needed to match 2014.

Will wait for Foxtel numbers - but potential decline detected.

With the next 4 or so races on Foxtel only - might be some nervous team managers & sponsorship managers.

Its amazing to think that sponsorship managers are so stupid that they dont consider these things and that some posters on here , with so little information, are so smart that they do

I think you need to get your hand off it.

Time will tell. Clearly the reduction in exposure is biting. Lets see how bad it really is over the coming months.

No need for the insults

Coopers have just signed for 5 more years.

How is the reduction in exposure biting?

I had to record all weekend precedings so I recorded Foxtel . What a pain in the arse as all races came up separate in the guide with no explanation so had to record upteem of them in order to record main game races. .Coverage not as good as seven , missed too many incidents. As for the muppet show with skaife and ingall ??????

Foxtel had 106,000 viewers on Sunday.

I think these numbers will be about what all at VESA were expecting.

didnt insult anyone, read my post

and Coopers includes sponsorship on the track which is seen by the tv audience

Lexus, just signed , that dont seem to be worried

Roger Penske just bought a team, not worried. Superblack have just entered not worried.

so your evidence that the new media package is "clearly" biting is that cars that didnt have sponsorship last year, still dont have sponsorship

The only people that seem worried are poster on a forum who are known for running down v8 supercars, some of them have been running it down for nearly 15 years

For years you've made a habit of insulting, belittling and treating forum members like idiots because they have a different view to you and now your going through a precious stage and expect to be shown some respect that you've blatantly lacked over a long period of time.

Some sponsors probably look to the corporate tents to invite clients to watch their name go round than just exposure on TV..

106,000 is up from 75,000 on Saturday.

Total Sunday viewing is 593,000 across 2 platforms which is down 54,000 on 2014.

Will V8SA & teams be happy with a reduction of 54,000? With the $$$ up front maybe they are.

Next comparison will be the Foxtel Live only event at Round 2 (wherever that is)

you left out fridays coverage and Thursdays coverage

you also left out anybody with foxtel play

Will v8 teams be happy with 10000 extra people on race day? Much better for the sponsors.
