Banned from driving VY Commodores
We had Holden come out to work today. The reps where telling us how good they where and then proceded to take groups of 2 of us for a drive with them.

Ant way we were out and about and the rep says "Even the hand brake is better" to which I replied "Bulls**t". He then said to me "why don't you pull the hand brake on". We where doing about 20kph. So I did. Now Morris 1100 reckons I don't pull the hand brake on on the Torana far enough. He would have been proud today. The rears locked up, the cover come off the hand brake lever and the shoes locked on and even with the hand brake handle realesed they wouldn't come off. So we had to wait for Holden Roadside Assistance to come and tow it back to the local Holden dealer

They have replaced Hand Brake cables, shoes, discs and tyres.

We get the car back once it is finfished so I will try and get it and bring it down there. Practice a bit of Rally driving

Could be worse - it could be a Fiat Uno.. I know someone whose car was written off when an Uno from the house opposite decided it was bored with life and hurtled across the road into his garage. I've also found a Fiat Uno halfway across a Little Chef car park before now - again having gone for a short walk on its own. And best of all, I got a lift into town in a colleague's Uno. He stopped the car, and as I had just got one leg out onto the pavement, the little git started rolling forward. I wasn't anticpating being run over from INSIDE a car

Go to drive this car today. I can't understand the thumping noise from the back of the car. It may have something to do with the flat spotted tyres
