Wasn't the JWA car still technically the "hackjob" car? I figure there might be better parts on the Drayson car.

Whatever happens to the engine in the Drayson-Barwell car at Long Beach cannot be worse than what happened at St. Pete...As long as they start the race it will be an improvement!

Nope, it was the final spec Vantage GT2. Aston Martin release official pictures a week prior.

Just to inform you...the entrylist has gone back to 28 cars.

The Bell Motorsports DBR9 is no longer on the list for the Long Beach round.

I see former DTM driver Frank Stippler will partner with Marc Basseng, still a strong lineup...

Firts JWA withdrew it's entry at last weekend's LMS race for their Vantage, now Gigawave has withdrawn their full season entry of the car in FIA GT. I hope they haven't come across a MAJOR problem or something that will keep it off of ALMS grids as well!

Probably just concentrating on the GT-1 at the moment. As the Vantage was so late in its arrival they will take the time to sort it and then present it when they have it where they want it in terms of preparedness.

JWA withdrew its car from the race after suffering an unrepairable problem during the warm-up IIRC.

The race does not show up on my guide in Media Center. It doesn't show on Titan TV, I wonder why? Wasn't it suppose to be live? Now it says tape delayed...

The week of the race and the TV isn't figured out yet?????

Au, where'd you get this info? I just checked our local ABC listings (Seattle) and there's nothing listed. I kind of want to know since I want to have my spouse at home tape it for me -- I'm not going to see much of the race from race control.

Well, south of Seattle on the I-5 corridor my local ABC affiliate station ( ABC west feed) via Directv lists it as 4/20 @ 2:30pm-4:30pm PDT. Hope this helps.

That's interesting, that's where I pull my info from for Media Center. Even Titan TV doesn't show that, hmmm.

Listed on the East coast ABC feed as broadcast 1230-1430, in standard definition unfortunately. At least I'll be off for this one, the race is Sat afternoon correct? Might have to check in with RLM if its on.

The real reason - LACK OF BUDGET

Peterson-White wrecked big time at St Pete, had a new car on the grid at Long Beach, thanks in large part to Mary Peterson's purse.

Methinks Bell has a set budget and used up any extra budget when they had to repair the car just to run Sebring.

Its Tues and Primetime will be on the grid is looks like, so in the END.

It sing with with me now -

"Money, Money, Money... Money" -

Bell runs the car for Michael Fux(Fuchs). Money is an issue only if he does not want to spend it! He is creating a pedigree for one of his collection. Google is our friend.

I don't have to be informed do I?

He's a Caucasian with money, I didn't have go Google that did I?

I said he set a budget, I didn't say he was BROKE.

When money is involved TIME is no issue, clearly, money was involved because I would say Joel's car was almost a write-off at St Pete and he's still on the entry list.

They said "no" to Long Beach almost 8 days before it was to be ran.

Maybe they don't wanna wreck it again? That could be the case. I'd say Lord Drayson takes his racing much more seriously.

Even if the Bell car never shows up again, they win the IMSA Cup and an Automatic Bid to Le Mans.

Save money DUDE, stay home.
