The Quiz Thread

I had this idea about a thread where a question is asked and the person who gets it right then sets the next question!

So to start the ball rolling an easy one!

What do David Franklin, Ray Rowan and Roy Lane have in common?

Oh and it isn't something stupid like two feet!

Well done Fyrth! I would also add that they are the only drivers to accomplish this feat!

Well it is now up to Fyrth to set the next question!

Thats put me on the spot!

Another tenuous connection and I have a specific answer in mind.

What is the connection between Nigel Bigwood and one of the three individuals in Steve's first question?

I'll go for Ray Rowan being the individual and the connection would be that Ray prepared Nigel's Tolemans.

Google throws up a page that suggests Fyrth's Ensign was previously owned by David Franklin and then Nigel Bigwood...

Paul of course got the trick answer correct, but that was not the answer that I had chosen!!

As Steve has already had a go perhaps he will forgo his new question and let Paul make a selection instead?

Good idea Fyrth! Don't want to be accused of hogging the limelight!

In the meantime I'll sort out a slightly more taxing question!

Questions, questions. No idea. Here's one I don't know the answer to...

Which is the current championship hillclimb course with the lowest average speed?

My extensive calculation and various consultations of the literature confirm Bouley Bay as the slowest. I reckon just under 54mph.
