Steve Park is a great driving talent, no doubt. I seen the same thing that Dale Sr. did in him when I watched him race in the Busch North series. But, and there is always a but, I would say that he probably isn't ready to be a serious Winston Cup contender yet. To be a serious contender, you need to not only have the talent, but have very few tracks that you don't do well at. He finished 11th in last year's standings with a win, two poles and six top fives. I see him moving up into the top ten this year but give him another year or two and he should be in the mix as a serious contender.

Now, just as soon as I have stated this, Ricky Rudd and Steve Park will probably battle it out for the 2001 Winston Cup.
