Thank you very much for all the kind comments posted on this website regarding my organisation of the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy last weekend.
It was a great event - and wouldn't have been possible, without the overwhelming support from the competitors. You were all superb! I can't name everyone who has written, called or emailed to say thanks - for fear of missing someone out, but I really do appreciate it. I have already had some 'thoughts' of how to make 2005 even more special, so watch this space! Have a great off-season (have a good time if you are racing in North Wales on December 5th or before at a Winter Series meeting), and I look forward to seeing you all back at Silverstone in 2005! Put the dates in your diary now ! November 4-5-6 2005. Watch the BRDC website (www.brdc.co.uk) for all the latest Walter Hayes Trophy news, and news regarding other BRDC Formula Ford 1600 events. Given the dates for next year things that go "wooosh" & "bang" spring to mind, especially as a draw to those who's interest in cars wanes after a while
