Its not on yet. Will be on either tonight or tommorow morning on the news section, just got to compress some files first cos with 4 laps (each lap will be in a individual video) the file is pretty large at the moment so it has to be cut down. Even managed to get Arthurs commentary in the back ground.

A exclusive will gollop winner picture will be online soon.

Not a problem really, as the heats took ages. As Croft cant start until 12pm practice lasted one and a half hours meaning that it wasnt until 1.30 before the heats started. As a result only 2 heats could be run. But it went smoothly, racing was great....anyone could have won in supercar and modified classes. I think that it may have been a bad idea to have the support classes (Stock hatch, minicross and junior minicross) as there was just to many of them and with no disrespect to any of them, they dont exactly entertain, but it does allow more people the chance to race. I think maybe that the british championship should be for modified and supercar only, and then have the Stock hatch and minicross on a seperate championship weekend. There were simply to many races to get through. Three heats and b finals for supercars and modified only may have been a better way to do it.

all in all great days racing, loads of excitement and Britiain has there number 1 rallycross driver of all time back to winning ways, what more could the championship ask for.

Did anyone see the preview of it last night on men and motors? What a great job was done on that. Look forward to seeing the first round in a couple of weeks.

Out of interest, can anyone tell me what sort of jump start beams / detectors do they use at Croft? How does it work? How reliable is it?

MSA Rallycross

Yes the First heats did take a long time which caused some finals to be cancelled but don't pick on the organisors but have a word with all the drivers who kept trying to win the championship on the first corner of the first round.
The second heats and the finals were run in about the same time as the first heats, this could be the kamakazie tactics had been found not to work and they all realised that to be in with a chance you need to get round all the laps not just to the first corner
For the person asking about jump start beams
They are very expensive very good and if tripped respond in less than 1/10 and they are checked each start as they also bleep when tripped and the start marshals trip them every time they grid the cars.
Finally a big thank you to all the marshals & officials many of who worked under extreme pressure to get the job done.
Then we all went for some

What do you reckon Gnomex - can we get Lydden to shell out for some beams like that? Or will we be resorting to bits of string across the track attached to bells come April?

Does anybody know if there were plans to run 3rd runs, they were mentioned in the program, (but that does tend to be a standard timetable).

I realise a Sunday is better for driver and spectator numbers, but last years event was on a Saturday, which gave every body more time to get through the event.

Was there any reason why it wasn`t a Saturday event?

I just feel sorry for those drivers that only got practise, 2 heats and no final.
