Club Silverstone Members

Hope this is the right place to post this. I have just applied to join Club Silverstone next year, anyone here a member?

Do you mean the Silverstone Racing Club, the one with the clubhouse on the outside of Luffield opposite the pit lane entrance, or is this something different. Not a member myself but know a few people who are and have been in the clubhouse as a guest a few times.

Yes thats the one i am applying to join.

You used to get reduced rates on tickets and programmes and cheap resfreshments but now it's all standard rates. Aside from somewhere to shelter in the rain the only real benefit is that you get paddock access for F1 test. Whether that represent good value for money or not depends on what you think of F1.

I was a member, but it is a bit of a waste of money to join because this year they were doing one day membership for just a tenner at all the test days.
