Silverstone BTCC

Featuring the Formula Renault Fisticuffs!

HAd a really good day at Maggotts today. Some really good and close racing. All events on time leaving on time.

I have to say best part of the day was in the F - Renault Race when we had 3 cars in together resulting in Oli Jarvis (series leader) attempting to lay into the driver that supposedly caused it all. We stepped in anyway and despite Mr Jarvis insisting he could do what he wanted we got the cars shifted.

Hello to Dan and Dee who were sporting their 10 - 10ths patches. Nice to of marshalled with you.

Hope everyone had a good weekend as could of been had with todays bad news from Rally GB.

Had a good day...not much to deal with down at copse exit although there was lots of head scratching at the odd lines that some of the cars were taking!

Well Done to Gareth Howell for his first win in the Touring Cars...it was great!

Hm, I was also at Copse exit so we must have met. Were you the one with the 10-10ths pin badge? I was going to say something but got distracted.

Agree totally about the racing lines. And we reckon that after her first spin, Fiona took one look at the "help" arriving, and fled...

I was indeed the one with the tenths badge! I could have killed her the first time...as soon as my feet hit the floor after jumping off the tyre wall she fired the engine.

We thought it was 'cos she'd seen Gary, not you.

But we did need the exercise jumping up and down those tyre walls...

Robin_d nice refereeing with Oli,
Dee and I had a great weekend, looking forward to the A1 now.
Was nice to put another face to a name also. It is good to get out and about to other circuits.
was a bleedin' long run from up on the wall to ringside... i mean the gravel.

It was indeed a good day. Shame we had all our 5 goodies in that one race.

I need to get a 10/10 patch for my new overalls. Can spot them a mile off! I will have to venture down to Brands or Thruxton next year and be a magnet down there.
