RIP Diana Davison Gaze
Sad to learn of the death on August 6, 2012, of Diana Davison Gaze, widow of former Australian champion Lex Davison and wife of Tony Gaze - decorated WWII pilot and successful motorsport competitor. Diana was the matriarch of the Davison family - one of the best known Australian motor racing dynasties. Amongst her many achievements was founding Women for Wheels, a group of women who raised funds to improve safety facilities at Australian race circuits. She enjoyed a long and inspirational life and will be missed by many. RIP Diana

Very sad to hear this.
Commiserations to sons Jon and Richard and grand sons James, Alex and Will. A great lady who was a handy driver herself. |

Very Sad news i believe she visited the philip island rd of the V8s to see Will race
i met her at Rob Roy Historic and Classic many years ago while competeing in the Nola Holden sports racer a gracious and lovely lady. Also talking to the late lou Molina about racing and making Gnocchi Last edited by Darcia1; 11 Aug 2012 at 02:26. Reason: added more content |
