The Punters were there in 06 and what a week!

Ducks Nuts, Deck Bar, won the trivia night and the crab races at the Fox and Fiddle, dinner at Trailer Boat Club, Casino, Mindil Beach markets, Raging Bull Tavern at Parap, Shenannigans, Boat Club, Ski Club, Rorke's Drift, The Vic, Parap markets, Howard Springs, Humpty Doo pub, Globetrotters, fireworks all over the place, Wisdom Bar and Cafe and plenty of other joints lost in the beer haze.

Oh. And we went to Hidden Valley too. I believe Lowndesy won...

What a hoot!

I can't wait! Warming up for a week, Jimmy Barnes concert on Saturday Night, Presets on Sunday night, plenty of mates to catch up with, Fishing, and Back Packers, someone said the V8s are supporting the Improved Production cars up there at Hidden Valley too! Sounds like a plan, followed by a week in Adelaide (bit to live up to there Stobies!) and the next round of the NSW State Championship before back to work

Corporate Shirt and Black Dacks, Why? Dress of the day should be Thongs, Stubbies and Jackie Howe!

I am finding it hard to pick the result for this weekend. It will be a toss of the coin between #1, #17,#888,#5,#22 and possiably #2 & #18. So here goes

Over Rev should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What a joke V8 supercar. How can you have a time shortened race when there wasnt even a safety car!! Is it for TV proposes? Well start the damn race earlier. This category is meant to be the main event on a race weekend and we are shortening races. And shortening races by 1 lap. Thats 1 min and 10 sec!!! Are we really that pushed for time????? No good enough.

Yeah imagine if they had a SC period even worse. Not sure about other states but in Adelaide the coverage finished 8 minutes early as well, surely that was long enough for the remaining laps??
