NH/Mario's Secret Sauce
Came across an old tv show called Chef at Large - Molson Indy. I think it was in 2002. Chef Michael Smith visits someone and helps with the cooking. This time it was Newman-Haas at the Toronto CART race.
Gave some great insight into the team, you would never normally see and showed how to make the legendary Mario Andretti’s Grandmothers Pasta Sauce which Newman-Haas drivers always eat before a race. |

Oh wow, great find! Combines my love of motorsport and cooking!
Definitely jotted down the recipe, it sounds really good. Heck, if it pushed Shorty to win the race, it's gotta be good. |

I would try it but Spatini spaghetti sauce mix used in it was discontinued in December 2006. There is a top secret recipes replacement for Spatini but I can't find it.
