I think it would be close to business as usual down there. For whatever reasons that they don't have the BA out there, you'd think that they would go down that route eventually. Shoot, how much is a new car worth? $400,000? Unless you have a passage to shoot the old cars off to, $800,000 isn't easy to find for too many teams...

It's a shame he isn't up there. Lord knows we need a few of the other Ford teams to lift their game. Apart from the Stone bros, and the mighty Marcus, the rest still seem to just making up the numbers. I was expecting better results from Ozemail and DJR, and have been crossing my fingers FPR will rise like a Phoenix to reclaim the title for Ford.

Didn't the shells allocated for Larkham get re-allocated to FPR when the 3 car thing was decided, and now poor Larkham has to wait for shells to be available to him.

I dont think LMS are waiting for shells, there is no urgency (read: budget) there to get a BA finished.

The most recent Beehag BA shell delivery which the team said would be ready for Eastern Creek for Larko, has actually gone to David Thexton, whose new LMS-build BA will be debuting in Queensland.

Did we ever discover what caused Bargs in WA to have a DNF in race one, have a promise (in the Orrcon press release) of an engine change for R2 and R3 only to never be heard from again??

Did the annual engine change have to happen a bit early, or did Bargs have a bus back to Melbourne he had to catch?

The whole thing would be hilarious except there are people working there at the moment who may not be the happiest of campers without all the tools at their disposal to do the best job they can

I started weatching the WA round last night - after only seeing highlights of Race One - typical bloody Ch Ten...) they mentioned that Bargs wouldn't be starting - they had done an engine change but the new engine was also coughing and spluttering durnig the morning warm up and the problem was now diagnosed as electrical and he wouldn't be starting the last two races.
