Thank you Combe Marshals 24 March
Thank you to all of you guys and girls in orange for being out in that bitterly cold weather, yet managing a friendly wave to us all at race end.
It was good to meet some of you at lunch time. Thanks from us all in the Production BMW and Toyo Tyres Racing Saloons series. |

Hi Johnw,
Thanks for that, even though it was cold, personally i think the racing made up for it,one of the best meetings so far i`ve done at combe. Good to see big grids and some very close controlled racing from your series. Pass our thanks to all your guys for some excellent racing |

I'd also like to thank the marshalls - I made a point of waving to all the posts as I went round, and was surprised that any of you had enough sensation in your fingers left to wave back! I reckon you lot run with anti-freeze in the veins
Anyway without you we couldn't race, so once again, thanks! I certainly feel better knowing you are around, especially since as I'm a novice driver (and thus magnetically attracted to any and all hard objects within 30 yards)! |

Seconded, thanks guys.
Really was tight racing so glad you enjoyed it. 1/2 a second covered all the leaders, and the Sunbeam that took the inaugral spoils was only 3rd or so fastest around a lap. A great indicator that he just did a better job than us. Must try harder! Grids were strong, and that despite no less than 8 TTRS cars having to bale out just beforehand. It was all something of a revelation for me, I'm used to coming 2nd if I have an off day whereas in the Racing Saloons I could easily come 10th.. As it was I had a good day, came 5th, and bl**dy enjoyed it.. Anyway, the intent was to provide a show and we hoped you'd enjoyed it as much as we did. Cheers Stacy |

And thanks to the organisers who gave us the doughnuts too!
I love a meeting with mutual gratitude and respect. The y always go much better with those two things in place. And thanks for my team on Post 13 - I was Post Chief for the first time there and everyone did a good job. Hope our trainee will come back! Extremely cold and numb by the end of the day, but one of the best days I can remember. |

Paddock run very smoothly - I was very impressed with the young 'un who was directing and checking extinguisher pins.

Thanks to the Drivers for some great close racing. I was frozen by the end of the meeting but it was worth it.
And thanks to the crew that I marshalled with great day |
