hope they don´t rate the Judd backfire on downshifts being Big Bertha´s shooting at the close-by airport runway...

Well guys it appears that some of us have received a typically vitriolic PM from our mate CG - if we were Dutch we could reform the Resistance to fight back.

rumors say that he continued driving in 6th in the rev limiter with the clutch slipping for 1 1/2 laps...

don´t think the captured one caused the problem
he had another spin somewhere...i understand this happened in Qualifying

yep, he did another lap after this spin but at low speed and with a weird noise, don't remember if it was the last lap of his week end.

WTF is going on here we have the affable Peter Morley who is inaffensive and gets grief, driftwood whilst not often the above knows the sport inside out and gets banned for life and me who also received the same email from Christian which I think is uncalled for. Christian maybe you would like to mail me, however without wanting to cause more grief I think your actions over the past few days have done the series no favours and alienated peaple like me who as you know are genuine fans.

Very kind words and I ROFL (is there an abbreviation for ****ed myself laughing!) at the Drifty description.

Of course you must understand that as a friend of Roger's I am clearly on the dark side (in some peoples eyes at least).

The fact that I've seen the effort Roger has gone to over the years to develop the series and personally feel that someone hi-jacking it is morally (and in other ways) wrong clearly makes me a bigotted trouble maker...
As would any statements of fact about their failure to deliver any of the promised improvements to the show.

Perhaps we failed to realise that the forum is like a political photo opportunity, simply somewhere for plenty of bottom licking and to offer sickening praise to the power hungry.

Peter the Affable
(has a nice ring to it doesn't it!)

guys - If it makes you feel better, consider it you taking the moral highground, but just leave it already, please.

Some people are more interested in hearing about fast cars than fast mouths.

Hi all,

I'm planning on doing the Spa Francorchamps race. Can anyone tell me the max speed and the slowest speed so I can get a rough starting point with my gearing. I'm driving a 92 F3000 with 550 hp. Can you please help?

i understand you have a 5 speed H-pattern gbox. topspeed with 550BHP and being a 92 Reynard or Lola will be in the region of 280 - 290 kph depending on wing settings and getting EauRouge right...
slowest corners are Turn 1 and the new Bus-Stop chicane before the S/F straight which will be 2nd gear i´d say...min speed about 70 kph

Hi another driver posting here on the Boss forum. It would be great to let us know who you are and which F3000 car you have?

Thanks Dan had a inkling it was a Irish Libre racer and had I done more research would have guessed it was you. Are you doing just Spa or planning more trips in to Europe? And your Reynard 92D is running a DFR?

Looks very good indeed. Great to see Ingo Gerstl now has a GP2 chassis! I was hoping some of the ex-GP2 Asia cars would make it into BOSS racing. I remember Bruno Michel (I think) said he didn't want the old chassis to be sold on for such use - well screw him.

Christian, come back and tell us about the weekend!

First thing that jumped into my head too - hahaha, didn't take them long.

Another 20+ prov. entry - very impressive.

No Williams? No Orange Arrows?
I expect Christian is still sulking somewhere, it makes me laugh that this is the only outlet for any news on the series and someone I have supported in the past now refuses to keep the "real" fans like us reading it in the dark.
