A Quartermaine should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The very fast Thruxton!

There is a formula ford race meeting at Thruxton on Sunday 27th June which should be fantastic, does any one have access to the entry list?

Additonally does anyone have some FF or similar onboard footage as there is no testing available.

Thanks in advance,

Adam

Youtube should have plenty of clips for you, from both track days in a single seater, through to races from both onboard and spectator views.

Either way you will have a good time, and you will get a wave from me on Post22

Cheers,
David

Here's a good one on-board with Stuart Moseley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rumZB...eature=channel.

He's in a Radical so it's a good deal faster than a Formula Ford, but it shows you how much of the circuit is actually flat out. You only brake for the Complex (Right/Left/Right) and the Chicane at the end of the lap. Otherwise try and avoid letting the car car slide around too much as that scrubs off speed.

Hi Adam.
I'm sure you will love Thruxton but you really should be coming up to Knockhill for the Scottish Formula Ford Festival that weekend at Knockhill. Much more track time for your money.
Maurice.

The problem with that for me is that Thruxton is about 40 minutes away from home, whereas Knockhill is 7 hours!

FA73 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Adam,

I qualified 4th in the Classic FF1600 race at Thruxton last year but slipped to 6th in the race...
(my engine was running at 110 degrees C which I reckon lost me some power ?? thats my excuse !!! ).

I have a video of the qualifying and the race which you can have if you can send me an pm with somewhere to post a DVD too.

1st to 6th was covered by 2.5 secs at the flag - its a great place for a FF1600 race !!!
