Jamie is another 'Marcos Ambrose' who makes the Ford Falcon look better than it actually is.
Also, there is a lot of upheaval amongst the Holden ranks which probably doesn't help their results. When you have a low-budget privateer team quicker than the factory team, you know there are major problems. |

If Mr Whincup wants wants to earn the really big bucks then perhaps he will have to take a drive overseas.

Could Mr Whincup emulate Mr Ambrose in NASCAR? Is his talent from a technical standpoint good enough to achieve this?

I would have though that a European drive would more likely be on the cards with the noises his management are making. But where does he try the BTCC or DTM or does he get a sportscar drive to try and emmulate Vern Shuppan and Geoff Brabham and win Le Mans

You might wonder about how to break the ice in the European driver market. Entering the Nurburgring 24 hour in a pukka 888 prepared hog would be a better starting point than many......

Nah, get him driving a team penske car in the IRL. It's full of aussies, and the money would go ok there.
I wonder if he would go ok going around in circles all day? Only after a few years is Mr Ambrose getting the hang of it. |

Maybe a total race wins percentage would be more accurate to compare drivers..... |
