The Great and British hit squad will be touring Swansea, Newport, Kidwelly and Llanelli on Thursday, Friday and Saturday offering the public the chance to sit in race cars for photos and get two-for-one ticket vouchers

They dont have my size, already tried that! Mind you I run there stuff on the old car. Just I was quite impressed at the Snetterton meeting I entered of theirs and the coffee and biscuits for the drivers were excellent!

Thanks for the feedback. Dunlop have learned a lot in the last two years in promoting BTCC and we feel that we can promote these Great and British events in a way that complements BTCC.
It just shows that a little promotion can go a long way. We had some sceptics, particularly as two of the championships left the F3/GT package to join Great and British, but it couldn't have gone better so far. The crowd at the last Great and British event was approximately double the crowd size at the last F3/GT event. The 2-4-1 offer at Pembrey will be monitored closely and if successful we will roll this out at other events. We have had 'Orange Wednesdays' at cinemas, so how about 'Dunlop Sundays' at race tracks?! |

Sounds a great idea, I throughly enjoyed the buzz at the inaugral Snetterton meeting and am looking forward to the Donnington one later in the year where I believe we are guesting again.

I didn't think there were any Fiat 128's left, I thought they'd all done an alka seltzer and dissolved.....
I'm looking forward to the Great & British Festival at Castle Combe in a few weeks. |
