Ban on front tinted windows - Jan 2016?
My French is not so hot but, I just posted this in case it affects anyone.

Possible €135 fine

Not the front windows. The side windows. And they they want to ban them from january.

That will create a lot of trouble.
In Denmark all front windows (head and side) is illegal to tint. However rear side and rear window is very often tinted. Often from the factory!
The dominant part of the danish cars going to Le Mans features tinted windows in the rear and side.

A bit disturbing. They say it is because of security and control. Security because a two wheels driver( bicycle, motorcycle) or a pedestrian can't see if the car driver has seen them i the traffic. That's true believe me. And for the control of fastened belts and the phones' use.

I understand the reasons, which makes good sense.
The problem is that the tinting of windows isn't something which is easy to remove (impossible if featured from the factory) and reinstall.
I fear we will see a lot of fines and unhappy turist if the ban is enforced towards turist. Even though it makes perfectly good sense! (I bike every day, so I know the importance of this too).

Most should be OK, I believe this is already the law in the UK. From manufactures you can only get tinted rear side windows.
