Race is starting behind the safety car to see if they can shift some of the surface water.
It's still pouring with rain so unlikely to get going anytime soon. |

thanks for the link. have it running now but as long as the safety car parade continues I am watching our hockey wcs match against slovakia which stands 2-0 for Germany with 5:50min to go in 2nd 3rd
edit:and I won't miss a bit as we have another red flag |

Just over an hour left before sun down - may as well shut up shop for the night & hope for tomorrow (but weather is predicted to still be dodgy).
Bit of a no win situation - especially on a street track (the city needs it's roads back end of tomorrow at latest). |

That was ugly.....what a mess!
 Is there a "non-rainy" season in Sao Paulo or is this just pure coincidence that this race has been marred by terrible weather conditions? |

Bit stupid to schedule a race in Sao Paulo a the height of the rain season, however I feel the organisers have done this to try and get an exciting wet race.
Pity the plan has backfired again |
