who has thrown the teddy out of the pram??? I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want a cheaper base chassis... 888 should be happy as they are selling more chassis than ever, FPR is getting the cheaper base chassis from Pace to build from like DJR and have pretty much the same 4 car team so far, The only big name builder I can think that may lose customers is Walkingstick as they have lost LDR to 888 already and may loose BJR who may as well buy a base pace chassis and finish off from there as they do with their chassis from WS presently and the supercheap rec is link with some guy with a bunch of forklifts... also from what I can remember they have been pretty quiet on news of their COTF builds?? everyone else have been talking about it but not much from the DJ?? ?? anyone want to comment from the powder room??

What the? Walky thinking of pulling out of the COTF build? Any one got anything on this. Does it have anything to do with the last few posts?

Walky (and by connection, BJR) going the PACE option now, are they?

I suspect they're more meaning the last new "Current Gen" V8SC, ie. that no other team will build any more between now and the end of the year...

Yes, JC Ohope, your interpretation of that conversation is correct.
The likelihood of a team building up a new car from the current chassis regs
between now and 2013 seems remote, but things change quickly in this game,
especially if someone totals a car.

When I first heard it, for a second I thought Larko was implying that if JC keeps bending cars people might stop giving him race cars.

that looks like a cross between a commy and a cruze. Would like to see a rear shot to see if they have maintaned the staunch rear end that the VE had. The VE 2 is one of the best looking cars in current production from the rear end in my opinion (as in family sedans etc)

Don't worry. it's just a crude photo-chopped image created for HWT.
It's just the regular VE with the new Chevy Malibu front end morphed onto it.

Chrysler said no to V8's more then a month ago.
