Nissan wins the GT 500and GT300 classes

In JGTC Nissan Skyline in the GT500 class and the Nissan 350Z (Fairlady) won their classes the drivers taking the spoils, last race of season too.

The awesome skyline, now with the V6 TT, instead of the old Inline 6, did what people were skeptical of, and the new 350Z pulled it off- now Nissan is coming back to their former glory. how cool is that.

Round 8, the last race of the 2003 AUTOBACS JGTC Series, was held at Suzuka Circuit on November 16, a large crowd (34,000) filling the grandstands to witness the final battle of the year and crowning of the 2003 JGTC Driver's Champions. It was a blockbuster day for the Nissan camp; Treluyer and Ide taking the No.12 Skyline GT-R over the finish line first for the GT500 win, and Motoyama-Krumm scoring enough points with their third-place finish to claim the GT500 Driver's Championship title and give NISMO the Team Championship. But the Nissan news doesn't stop there. Kino****a and Yanagida drove the No.3 Fairlady Z to a second-place finish, giving them the Driver's Championship in the GT300 class..

That 350Z is a sweet little thing, isn't it?

This is a great GT series. I'd go so far as to say it could be the best in the world. Just wish it got more coverage downunder.
