bobdrummond should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello All.

I'm shortly moving to Seattle and, before I've even sorted my flight, accomodation, etc, I'm going to get my tickets for Vancouver. I'd appreciate any information on the following;-

1) Where is the best spot on the track?

2) Is the Vancouver race good? (I've heard Vancouver city is superb)

3) Where's the best location to stay for the weekend?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

I have never been to the Vancouver Molson Indy, but I am sure that www.molsonindy.com has most of the info.

Accomodation in downtown Vancouver can be quite expensive, and will probably be difficult for race weekend, so you should obviously start your search immediately. Tickets to the race can wait. When in Vancouver, I usually stay at the Hotel Georgia. The location can't be beaten, and the price is very reasonable for downtown. However, you'll probably have to stay somewhere away from the core where it is more available.

The city of Vancouver is, as you said superb. However, I have, on occasion found it difficult to find good food at a reasonable price.

PS If you have a chance while you're in the area, check out the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island. It is a smaller city that is very tourist oriented, but a great place to relax. Plus, the food seems to be better.

dude, vancouver is the bomb. For food, go to granville island or gastown or chinatown. if i were you, don't just go there for the race. Visit cause vancouver is a really cool town because everybody ia laid back.
