Seeing how it is only Finns that seem to be able to win the 1000 Lakes, the smart money is on Makkinen. Ahhh!!! The Rally of Finland Maximum Attack!!!

Well, both Makinen and Kankkunen are out of the rally, while McRae and Sainz are 4th and 6th respectively ahead of the last day. Looks like the record won't be broken in this rally then...

Having set this poll just after the Safari rally in July. I expected one of them to have taken their 24th rally win by now, but here we are 4 rounds later, still waiting!

Somehow I think that the first to the 24 win's will either happen in Oz or on the RAC and the man to het it is the 2001 World Rally Champion Mr Colin McRae.

i agree rdjones.Colin is the only one who stands a chance with australia and GB to come.
