StuiE should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Favourite Driver?

Been meaning to post this for a while, now this forum is getting busy, so there's no better time....

My favourite driver would have to be Carl Edwards, When I first saw him at Daytona (before this season I'd only seen a few Brickyard and Daytona races around 2000) I just loved his attitude and personality, that's an addictive smile.

other favourites would be Boris Said, Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth.

yours?

I have a lot of drivers I really like. Richard Petty is my all time favorite. All three of the Bodine brothers are pretty high on my list too. Alan Kulwicki is a favorite because he was an engineer and is one of the biggest underdogs in racing history. I also like Boris Said and Bobby Labonte, Kasey Kahne, Dave Blaney, Kyle Petty, and Joe Nemechek.

I also like Robby Gordon even though he has a tendency to do stupid things every once and a while. I suppose its because he's pretty interesting to watch and is willing to race anything.

My favourite will be Juan Pablo Montoya, whenever that first appearance occurs!

But to be honest, there is nobody I really dislike in NASCAR. They all contribute to a stunning show.

I'm a Bobby Labonte man, been supporting him since I started watching in 98. He's a top bloke and clean racer. I also have a bit of a soft spot for 'Front Row' Joe Nemechek.

Though I am sure I will have JPM and possibly JV to add to that list if they ever make it to the cup.

It USED to be Harvick along with Junior but in light of his recent comments I couldn't care less for him.

1) Dale Junior
1) Jacques Villeneuve?
3) JPM
4) Truex (a semi-local driver, and he drives for DEI so that is another plus)
5) Ambrose

Rusty......oops, forgot he retired.
Bobby Labonte
Jeff Burton
Jeff Gordon
Dale, Jr
Boris Said ( we raced against him in Trans Am in 2000. I also seen him get hit in the face with a pie while standing on the podium at VIR after winning the race and Championship )
Actually, I like most of them with the exception of a couple, well maybe 4 of them that I don't really care that much for.

Knowlesy and Nicky, rooting against at least one driver is a NASCAR tradition.

Well, I've only been watching three years and still have found nobody to hate.

I must find someone!

I can give you 3 suggestions and maybe 4.
I am pretty sure there are a few others that could make some suggestions.

Primary favorites:
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Tony Stewart
Denny Hamlin
Carl Edwards

(I expect to add Steve Wallace and Juan-Pablo Montoya as well whenever they make their respective Cup-debuts.)

My all-time favorites, however, are Rusty Wallace, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Davey Allison.

I used to dislike Jeff Gordon a lot (and I mean a lot), but ever since he ditched his golddiggin' trophy-wife and suddenly became more human - both off and on the track - I really don't have anyone out there that I dislike.

Gordon, Junior, Tony and Harvick. I do have a little GM bias though. Looking forward to seeing Montoya race.

Denny Hamlin looks good, he's very consistent and level headed, he'll be a star.

Is Clint Bowyer related to Jeff Burton, they look similar, I think he's good too, just can't catch a break at the moment..

I'm a fan of engineer-drivers, I'm a mechanic so I can relate, a driver that can build the car (in the the early days now, or when growing up) is really a great skill that I respect.

I'm not a big fan of Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson, they just seem a bit boring to me that's all I really have against them :P
