Peter Harding should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
750MC Snetterton 11/12 April

By now I would have got the tickets out to marshals but I haven't got any!
This is our first meeting with "the organisation previous known as BH circuits" and I think the tickets will get to us about Friday. That means to me at earliest on Sat and with eerc on Sat and BRSCC Snet Sunday, I'll be working overnight to get tickets to you.
The question has been asked about using MSA carsds for access but I am having a little trouble interpretting the reply but I think they are acceptable "in an emergency"???

If necessary, I will have a letter out with details and have someone standing at the gate with tickets.
Sorry for inconvenience.

"MOST" marshals have some sort of photo-ID these days, whether it's the BMMC Photo-grading card or the MSA registration Card.
You would think that it would be an acceptable means of entry to an official at ANY circuit rather than the cost (to an organising club) of having to send tickets!!

Might be a good idea to post sign on times on here, so we can all at least try to get there in good time if you do need to hand out tickets on the gate.

As for all 750MC rounds, I'm looking forward to it (especially as I should be able to look out of the rescue unit's windows if it's raining!)

did you understand that the "newest" crew member
HAS to wash the unit down when it gets wet!

Peter Harding should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sunday/Monday
11th/12th April 2004

If you did, thank you for volunteering to marshal at the above 750 Motor Club meeting. Tickets may or may not be enclosed with this letter when you get it. If not, there will be an arrangement on the gate.

Signing on will be at 7.45am to 8.30am at the bottom of Race Control. There will be an observers briefing at 8.30am.

As usual, all marshals will be entered into the marshals’ raffle for prizes on the day and will go into the end-of-year raffle as well. Year bars, car stickers and badges will be available for those who want them.

If you find you are unable to attend, please let us know in advance. Similarly, if you have any queries, give me a call.

Chief Marshal - Pete Harding – 01206 502064/mob 07802 505588

Latest on the tickets front is that they are expected at 750 HQ on Tuesday and will be dispatched from there straight away.
Aparantly they used to be done at Silverstone last year but after sale of circuits are done locally. I guess it needs a bit of time to work properly.

Peter195001 - I know I clean the unit up - the lads get most annoyed when I ask them to wake up and lift their feet so I can sweep under them!!! Have a job with washing outside though - I can't reach!

The paddock will be fairly full over the weekend
with nearly 400 entries
Some are of course the re-runs of two Donington races Hot Hatch and F4.
We have still got 72 Stock Hatches
Visiting races are for Morgans and the MGBCV8
Championships.
If we have a following wind we might finish early
Donington pun intended

We had some superb racing over the two days, sorry about the red flags on Sunday. These were mainly
cars in dangerous places and fires in engine bays.
The stock hatch final had one car break away due to the pack being held up on the first lap, but the racing was cracking.Dicing in nearly all the races, this is nothing like F1 and we had a fair crowd as well.

To all at 750MC,

Well done for another brilliant meeting! I could only make Sunday, but it was, as always, a very smoothly run day. Any news on the driver from the accident in the last race?

Thanks for your comments. Driver was taken to hospital and family were going to stay at circuit overnight. I have not had any feedback yet.
PS I only saw you on Monday so assume you got days mixed in your message. Thats understandable as I have been confusing the family for weeks calling it a Sat/Sun meeting!

Thanks to all at Coram/entrance to russell who looked after me after I managed to go grass tracking at 111 mph (knew that the data logger would come in handy). I was the Black F4 car. Many thanks to the marshall who brought over my ECU which had been ripped out in the crash. It still works...

You can see why I'm glad Racie-katie has joined the marshalling world - we can manage half a brain between us!

How the hell did I manage to get a degree???

Spoke to medics today and that driver was released from hospital with no problem found.

Peter195001, it was on Sunday during the 1st F4 race, just before it was red flagged. Told by one of the marshalls that it looked quite spectacular, wereas in the car it simply felt bloody worrying...
