I bought this up in another thread and want to follow it up for a bit of fun.

If the FIA had realised how much advantage Mercedes would have with their unique turbo set up do you think they would have banned it? They ban everything else that might give any team a bit of an advantage so should they have banned the turbine/compressor arrangement that MB finally arrived at? If they had banned it and taken away the dominance that MB has enjoyed would it be a good thing if another team had then dominated because that may have been the result.
