OK, just about to order my first set, are they priced the same everywhere or does anyone know of a cheap supplier? Are they any cheaper direct from the tyre truck at meetings? Can you just walk up to the tyre truck and buy a set or do you have to pre-order them or have an account?

Your wasting your time shopping round or trying to get a bargain bdeal, it won't happen, unless you buy 1000 or so

HP tyres I use, if your part of a race series and mention the name you can get a 10% discount.

As I saw it when I ordered last, its HP Tyres or HP Tyres, talk about a monopoly and even with a discount they ai'nt exactly cheap for a 15" 225x60 series tyre!

there are other suppliers, and thweyre more expensive, I've tried shopping direct to Dunlop and they don't want to know, even if you want 100 tyres!

and no theyre not cheap, but then they're hand made and don't make them in the kind of quantities to justify a low cost

They did not have an online facility up to last year when I ordered.

phone them up and they'll be in the post for the next day usually. Quite a novel way of doing business these days, it works remarkably well though the old voice and telephone.
