Kart Parts and Equipment... Where do I get it?

Hello to the people of ten-tenths

Me and a friend are planning on entering the world of karts. Does anyone know where to go to find decent kart parts for a competitive price in comparison to the big names out there. Help would greatly appriciated

Spellfame Karting have most things on the shelf, take Paypal, send out quickly and offer free carriage. I use them all the time.

However, most kart tracks have a shop trackside so there's less requirement to pre-buy spars until you actually need them. If you're buying "spec" stuff like tyres or engine parts for the regulated classes, then wherever you buy them the prices should be the same.

PS For "competitive" do you mean "cheaper"? I don't think Spellfame can be bettered on price but I don't really care about saving a few sovs here and there if it means I get great service at a reasonable price. Some things are worth more than money!

ebay is getting a bit silly for karting gear these days, best bet are keep skimming these top websites:

www.karting.co.uk

www.karting1.co.uk

I find that putting a wanted advert on either site works a treat and I often end up paying in the region of 1/4 to 1/3rd the new price for good quality secondhand gear.
