gaius ghinn should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Classic F3 RALT RT 3

Can anyone advise type of head gasket to use for VW Brabham?
I also wondered if it might be a good idea to use the gasket intended for the diesel version of the 1.8 Golf GTi engine.....?.
any advice would be appreciated!

Many years ago when I raced ARP F3 there was a mod that could be done to re route a water gallery out the side of the block back into the head. This gallery could then be blanked off in the block which allowed a VW passat head gasket to be used. Sorry I cannot remember the details of the parts but hope it helps?

Thanks Benn, that's helpful, I'll look into that.
