Mr Keener should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Parker ENZED NZV8 Championship

We're back.Yippeee.OK who has news.Next season Manuell to where?? Mark Pedersen outfit is for sale and I imagine there will be some disillusioned people after last season. It appears TKR also gone and with Adam Brooke now caught up in head gate and with a final drive with TKR his future I assume is uncertain. Most importantly OTR is no more so where will Keen get fuelled up on race day. GT Radial guys look pretty social and whenever I see them trackside they display the athletic physique required to do a long season of motorsport. Might have to buy some for the Suzie and see if an invite is forthcoming(wonder if they make 20'' s).

Well one of my contacts there tells me they took the offer of Morris dancing very very seriously and have shifted resources to sponsoring the national titles. Apparently some of the more mechanical types are partial to dancing like Elmo.
Anyway if my mail is incorrect thats a good thing.I love that bus.

Couldn't agree more Sausage !
Well done Kayne good to see the the sensible sentancing trust is hard at work and have reinstated Kayne to his rightful place.
Good on you MSNZ for realising one of YOUR: officials stuffed up. Lets make sure the same type of mistake is not made again,
Will now be very interesting to see if the Tracer/Pedersen headgate incident can also go through the sensible sentancing trust in the courts in the very near future.
Will be awaiting that one with anticipation.!!!!!

Have just recieved a text that if the Tracer court action is successful Johnny mac will win the 2006 title. So I assume the results are still provisional ????

If somebody had told me that I would be congratulating #99 on winning this years championship a month ago, I would have nearly vomited, but here it goes....Congratulations Kayne....justice has been done.

I`m gutted!! Not only has the wrong guy taken what could possibly be the last NZV8 championship they didn`t take up my suggestion of a top 10 shootout to pick a winner!!

Wrong guy?? How very sporting of you MS.....What does the "guy" have to do to get accepted by the likes of yourself!!...Lets not forget that despite what any body might personally think about 99's very intence public persona....the guy did a hell of a job this season...Lets also not forget He didn't win it in the protest room... he won it on the track fair and square....Even if John got all his Headgate points back, 99 would stil be the Championship winner... If you think that other Leading Holden drivers, such as 3 times champion, Andy Booth, just suddenly became mug driver's over night...because mostly they were unable to take the fight to Scott this season.... then perhaps you should also take up Morris dancing.

Last NZV8 champoinship???......"Yea right"

This is a tough room alright. I don`t like the winner ,never have never will and I am a keen John Mac Supporter so that why I think the wrong man got the title. No hard evidence, anything substantial or even remotely unemotional!!

As for the last Championship line..firmly tongue in cheek but wondering why sponsors or fans would want to have anything to do with a championship that can run almost to the wire ,take the points off the dude who was about to win it ,then take the points off the guy behind him who was gunna win it, Race the last one announce the winner and then a week later after everyone goes home announce a new winner.

Having said that some people may think any publicity is good publicity.
Just ignore me...I`ll go away quietly!!

john still wouldn't have won the title even if the powers to be returned his "headgate" points.. so i'm not sure what you're on about?

as for not liking the winner?? err it's not a popularity contest lol if it was perkins would've won the title by now

Motorsport New Zealand issued this this morning:

Quote:
Kayne Scott New NZ V8s Champion

Hamilton driver Kayne Scott has been confirmed as the 2005-06 NZ V8s champion following a successful appeal against a loss of points for illegal testing prior to the Pukekohe Round of the championship.

The MotorSport Court of Appeal issued a verbal decision last night after a four and a half hour hearing. The full written decision will be available next week.

Awesome result, 99 the champ…I hope fogg didn’t get the cup engraved !!. Just to show that consistency will win this class and maybe after this season disaster the ruling body will be able to get the rules in place with the right personnel to make 2007 a wicked season for everyone. Well done Kayne, Fujitsu, Karcher MPM and all their sponsors…maybe Caltex will run a new radio add ?????
