Audi Racer has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

yes, push to pass is within the rules and most [Teams] have it. I'm guessing it just shows more because they are running extra lean. Pat Long
i Majority of the time theyre not even allowed to use it.. you should hear bobby rahal instructing the drivers to use it(its hilarious!). You'd swear that they where about to launch a nuke.

what other car do you know that shuts the ac off to run push to pass....thats sounds like a very advanced push to pass system hence the striaghtline speed they look like they have every time they pass someone

None taken, however I believe Calvin Fish is actually English. You may be getting him mixed up with Leigh Diffey who is an Aussie.

This has more to do with BoP than actual development.

Not anymore. Diffey defected.

Fantastic race, ABC coverage sucked but finally got home after my trip and watched the full race. Graf did one hell of a job with a 50 kg heavier car with bigger restrictors against Guy Smith, who along with Steven Kane in the first stint had incredible runs and were great in traffic. Best ALMS race (not counting Sebring, ILMC) of the year by a long shot in my opinion.

Congrats to Risi on a great win, just what the team needed considering how their season has gone so far. BMW still looks mighty strong though. As for Wolf Henzler, what else good can I say about him that hasnt been already said? Great driver. Also, despite not giving a damn about the Challenge classes, its great to see Butch back in his usual winning fashion.

Certainly the best LMP race since Sebring. But choosing between GT races is like picking your favorite child - can't be done. (Or so I'm told, still not a father... I don't think.)

Somewhat worrisome...

Selfishly, I'd like to see some international players at Mosport, but I know this can't happen. Unfortunately, this continent is too big — and I too poor — to trek to faraway lands such as California and Georgia to see some European flair in the ALMS.

Another thread has wild speculation about the WEC coming to Montreal, a destination much more accessible to me, but something about that whole situation makes me feel as though it won't happen.

All the politicking and dickwagging between the various parties at hand makes for some very interesting reading, but things may not go the best way for sportscar racing fans in North America concerning the WEC or ALMS schedule for next year.
