Craig, you're scaring me....

I'll get on to the dates you asked for - along with Aston Martin meetings (Group C sportscars anyone?) assuming you don't have the days already.

Hi Tim,

I have the Aston Martin meetings already but a double check wouldn't go a miss, so if you have the time, I would be ever so grateful. Any other events you would like me to post would be ever so grateful. If you already know of URL's for the events as well, it saves me a job. I've spent too much time surfing trying to find out information. I'm a baby compared to some of you lot when it comes to years of knowledge of motorsport!

Thanks.

Have I told you lot that you are absolute stars? Thanks! I'm giving it a rest for a couple of days. I've done too many hours today, but it is shaping up nicely now. Keep them coming, though. Much appreciated.

Having done a little browsing this evening, I can see what you are fighting against, Lorna.

It's as though the governing bodies of British motor sports are determined to run 2000 all over again. Like, it's the new year, guys.

I've found 2000 calendars for BHL, Thruxton, Thoroughbred GP, HSCC, VSCC, Bentley Drivers Club (tsk - I must have words), and several others. Sheesh.

But I can confirm that the VCC London-Brighton run is November 4th. Not a competition event, but a great day out.

Thanks to Donington, who do have their 2001 calendar on display, I can report the HSCC are there on April 8th, the Top Hat classic saloons will visit on May 5/6th, and the Vintage Sports Car Club on May 19/20.

Thinks: I wonder if some of the organising clubs will have events lists to hand at Autosport International?

Thank you Tim! You definitely DO see my battle. I have to find fan sites or general motorsport sites to search out the dates because the official sites are just so slack! At least Daily-F1.com can put a provisional calendar on their site months ago (or it seemed like it).

I didn't realise Donington had got their act together. I will check them out.

I've been to all those sites apart from Bentley so would be grateful for a URL or/and update when it is available.

London-Brighton event - not important if it is championship event or not. My site is for people to be able to plan their weekends.

And I will be pressuring people for events and addresses and stuff at the Autosport Show. I will have a chat with some if I get the chance as well to ask them why they take so long to put out their dates. It does my flipping head in. By the time I have got the site up and running, it will be pointless putting the Paris-Daker rally on their cos it will be over!

I am stressed. Need a couple of days away from my computer
