OT-Orange Free State, historical area of South Africa that was prominent during the Anglo-Boer war that exsisted as a republic until 1902 I was born in and spent the first ten years of my life in before moving to the United States in 1990 and eventually Bermuda. Just thought I'd put it up in addition to the Bermuda flag. |

Thanks, didn't know that, suspected there was a Dutch connection somewhere. I'll do a little history digging.

Looks like Dyson is using IMSA as a welfare service once again. Muscle Milk shouldn't worry though now that they have a reliable car as even if the Dyson Mazaerola is fast, their pit crew, who are likely drinking buddies from college, will screw it all up.

True but the bigger restrictor will help with one lap speed, and as I think that these slower tracks also work in advantage of the Lola they might be hoping for pole.
Lotus and AJR must've been handing some serious cash to IMSA to get all these ridiculous breaks... I mean by all accounts that car is now as illegal as it gets. I guess RSR Jag didn't lobby enough for their trashcan |

basicly with this bop the evora weight is comparable to the one of a former GT1 car... btw even with all these help i'm sure that the car will however run as the last gte in the grid.

GT1's were 1100kg LeMans or 1170kg ALMS C6.R GT1? It may be making a lot of power as well. If it helps them any I hope they at least show some type of pace and reliability. Wishful thinking but I do like Lotus and hope they do well.

I don't understand the weight reduction for the whole p1 class. Also why did Muscle Milk get a restrictor break? Why speed up the fastest car?

They probably just wanted to create a bigger gap between LMP1 and P2/PC. Cytosport will be ****ed nevertheless

I wonder if it the restrictor break is to help the P1s with passing lap traffic.

BoP for the Radical might imply that there's gonna be a Radical, so that's probably good news.

According to an article on Motorsport.com they skipped most of the '12 season to reorganize their program (one of the billions of explanations of why they haven't done anything since Daytona) and that they will be running/supporting the Godstone Ranch Ferrari in Grand-Am at an event or events post-Indy with eyes towards a full-season effort in 2013. Hopefully that isn't the extent of Risi's efforts this year and next. I did see that Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale appeared on the side of the AF Waltrip Ferrari at the Glen today... So who knows whom everyone is partnered with, where money is coming from and where teams will race? Chris |
