Ok im not sure where I was up to before because I have missed a few rounds..but here is the latest rounds od whats happening.
Donny Schatz early season run has come to an end and he is being realed in by the other competitors. here is rounds 12,13 and 14. rnd12 time trials: Gary Brazier 12.179 secs heat winners. Mark Reuter , Danny Smith , Andrew Scheuerle , Dennis Burford , Skip Jackson and Joel Knott trophy dash: Brooke Tatnell A-Main Brooke Tatnell , Skip Jackson , Gary Brazier , Max Dumesny , Phil March (schatz = 7th) Tatnell lead every lap of A main.and also took the lead in the points standings. Tatnell's pace does not surprise me at all. Schatz is a fine racer but it must be hard to keep up the pace with some of the faster Aussie's on their home tracks. After Tatnell's performance last year at the ultra-competitve Knoxville Nationals I think he is coming in to his own now and will be one of the fastest sprinters anywhere.

Ive always been a huge fan of Tatnells and think he is one of the best drivers here in OZ in any class..he took on the top touring car drivers and leaders in other series in a go kart meet (like what the F1 guys do) and blew them all away and he has also attempted super touring in a cavaller here in OZ and impressed in that as well..
good news for US fans is that both he and Skip Jackson have landed very good rides for the US season and should do very well over there.. look out for them they have a bit of experience of what to do in the states now so they should be ready to give it a red hot go |
