Unfortunately not I fear. I remember our dear Mike having the same when driving a Mog at Spa (SS not SLR).

Wow, I'm exhausted having just watched that video. I must say that I admire Jose's use of his mirrors throughout that drive, thus allowing him to place the car without interrupting other drivers.

As to the GT40 at the end, that was never the car's fault; totally down to dreadful driving of that car, probably believing that other cars should not get in his way just because he's driving a GT40! I must admit that I have never understood that attitude because with the huge speed differential between a GT40 and most of the other cars, they have no need to try passing on the corners; they just need to ease up a mere fraction and then blast past on the straight, especially when it's an endurance race.

Just received the timetable for the Spa 6hrs event. It starts on Thursday and finishes after the 6hrs on Saturday. Nothing on Sunday.

Wednesday is free practice/testing.

A lot going on on Sunday - just not for racers. All aimed at car clubs doing parade laps and mild trackday-like sessions. Looks like a good moneyspinner to replace some of the losses of the Covid period.

"Your TR" is pedalled by Vermast/Wilwert/Welter when the other one is by Colin Sharp/Jales Owen #57, right? Seven 911,s, Two TR's, six "B's" two Mogs and one 26 R in this GTS11 class.

The last provisional entry list update is dated 26 September but could not find delta and MGDavid.

Yes, weather forecast seems good atm.

Qualy Friday 7/8:30 Pm and race Saturday 5:50/9:50 PM. Enjoy every moment (including fricadelles)!

We're ready ... heading out Wednesday night. Billeted as usual in one of the upper garages in the Endurance (old) pits. Green TR4.

Only minor snag was the trailer electrics catching fire on owner's trailer, so car is here now loaded onto mine and we'll drag it out there ... hopefully that's the only snag we hit over the weekend...

Not quite; MGDavid has done something rather silly, ran over his own big toe moving a car at S'stone Classic which then got infected and then the infection moved into the lower leg. Multiple visits to GP, A & E and Short Term hospital clinic, it took four different antibiotics before we found one that would touch it. Could barely walk for 10 days and only now hobbling around with a stick. So we made the decision to carry over Gilbert's entry to next year (thankyou Vincent). The irrepressible Delta has switched across to the Galaxie. Good luck to all, I shall follow online timing....

Just woke up from stop at Tournai . Croissant and coffee then super market and on to the track . Gutted for MG David as I know how much he was looking forward to the 6 hour . Gilbert is ready for next few adventures with the No 1 engine fully rebuilt . Mary and MG can do a few races next year and I would like to do the 3 Hour Summer Classic in 2024. We are in box 30 if anyone wants to come and say hello .?

Sorry to hear David. All the best for a full and swift recovery. The way this last 12 months has flown by in a blink, next years event will be round in a jiffy.
